ICAN of Nashville

ICAN of Nashville holds FREE monthly educational and support meetings for the community. The International Cesarean Awareness Network, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve maternal-child health by preventing unnecessary cesareans through education, providing support for cesarean recovery, and promoting Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC).

UTERINE RUPTURE: MYTH VS FACT

Uterine Rupture is a REAL risk and deserves to be looked at honestly. How much does VBAC increase someone's uterine rupture risk? Are all uterine ruptures catastrophic? How does it compare to other potential emergencies? Can anything be done to decrease the odds of a rupture?
